PRAY FOR CLEVELAND

The City of Cleveland has been the subject of news reports all over the world and unfortunately it has not been good news. There has been a barrage of violent acts against women; and it seems there is a spirit of death and destruction moving through this region like never before.
The Good News is that we have an Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient Savior to turn to in moments like these. And we must remember that the fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much. So it is going to take a multitude of believers praying to God, on one accord, to fight against principalities and powers that are not of God. So I ask that you take a moment, as a matter of fact on the 7th minute of each hour just pray. Why the 7th minute? It is the spiritual number of completion and we should pray that this cycle of violence has come to an end.
Let us pray for the safety of women in this city, pray for the families that have lost loved ones, pray for the healing of those that have been returned to their loved ones, pray for the ones that are still missing, pray for the lost and sick souls that seek madness and murder. Just pray that God will cover and protect our citizens from all hurt, harm or danger and that we are covered in the blood of Jesus from this moment forward.
Use the following scriptures to pray God’s word back to him, in Jesus name, AMEN!

Isaiah 55:11 NIV
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:  It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Matthew 18:20 NIV
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

James 5:16 NIV
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Psalm 5:3 NIV
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

Romans 8:38-39 NIV
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Matthew 6:9-13 NIV
“This, then, is how you should pray:
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”
