My gift of love was given to
thee;
My son, the Blessed Child of
Galilee.
The crown of thorns that He
would wear;
An unconditional gift, this
King would share.
Yet, this gift of love no
longer seems to suffice;
For the celebration of
Christmas, no longer includes Christ.
Merry Christmas, you are not
allowed to say;
So as not to offend, it’s
“Happy Holiday.”
Your faith in Me, the world
has put to a test;
Christ is being crossed out,
replaced by an X.
The true spirit of Christmas
is nudged out of the way;
While political correctness &
commercialism rule the day.
Being stressed &
depressed is no way to live;
The joy of the season is to
cheerfully give.
A day sanctioned as an
expression of love pure & true;
A prophecy fulfilled by
grace, which was given unto you.
It is written in My word:
Isaiah chapters 7 and 9;
A child would be born, a
gift from the One Divine.
He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Prince of Peace;
Yet, My precious children,
this gift you are quick to release.
To the savagery of this
world and its devilish ways;
Christmas has now become
just a way to get paid.
My sacred children can you
really afford the price;
Of this day not celebrating
the birth of Christ?
Call it Christmas if you
like, but how could that be?
A day with Christ’s name
that does not include me?
So hear Me, My children, and
know I still care;
Glorify this great name and
lift it up in prayer!
JESUS, the Christ, is the
gift to receive;
So share the Good News that
the world might believe!
